Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, and (for merchants) business details you provide at signup.

Location data: a driver's device location while online or on an active delivery, used to route deliveries and power live tracking.

Payment information: handled directly by Stripe. NextRoute does not store full card numbers or bank account numbers.

Background check information: for driver applicants, information submitted to and results returned by our background-check provider, Checkr, Inc.

Delivery and device information: order details, delivery photos or proof-of-delivery submitted by drivers, and standard device/browser information (IP address, device type) collected automatically.

2. How we use this information

To operate the delivery marketplace: matching drivers to deliveries, calculating pricing and driver pay, processing payments and payouts, verifying driver eligibility, providing customer tracking links, and communicating service updates. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

3. Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing and driver payouts.
• Checkr, Inc. — driver background checks.
• Google Maps Platform — routing, distance, and map display.
• Twilio — SMS delivery for phone-number sign-in.
• Supabase — our database and authentication infrastructure.
• The merchant and customer associated with a specific delivery, for that delivery's duration.

We share the minimum information each provider needs to perform its function, and do not permit these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain account and delivery records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. Driver location history is retained only as long as needed for delivery routing, support, and safety review.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@getnextroute.com. Drivers have specific rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act regarding background-check information, including the right to a free copy of any report used in an adverse decision.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and role-based access control, to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

NextRoute is not directed to children under 18 and does not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
